Fílos was born on the streets of Giannitsà in Greece, along with his siblings. Unfortunately, the people living in that neighbourhood wanted the dogs gone and moved them to separate locations. Some of them did not make it and were hit by a car, some of them were adopted. The others found shelter in a military camp where soldiers take care of them. Fílos was first adopted and then put back to the streets, probably because of his size. Thankfully, he was rescued by our volunteers and adopted by HFD founder Candice.
Very social with people and other dogs. Calm and independent but a bit stubborn. He will need training.
Fílos has found a family, but we have 22 other dogs looking for a home.
