Become a Flight Volunteer

Can you help an adopted animal get to their new home?

For some dogs at our partner shelters, the only way they can travel to their adopters overseas is by air travel, as a passenger’s extra baggage. We are always looking for flight volunteers to accompany these deserving dogs to their forever homes. Our dogs are adopted all over France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and the UK.

Becoming a flight volunteer takes very little effort on your part! Our team handles everything, from ticket booking to check-in, with no cost or work required from you. Your only motivation is to help animals in need.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Stay in contact with the adopter before the flight (we typically create a WhatsApp group)
  2. Add the dog as excess baggage to your booking (we handle the arrangements and cover the costs)
  3. Meet our team at the airport for check-in (they will bring the dog with its passport and travel crate)
  4. Pick up the dog at the destination airport from the ‘special baggage’ belt
  5. Hand the dog over to the adopter, along with their papers !

Imagine the satisfaction of seeing an adopted dog meet their new family—thanks to your help!
