We were informed of two puppies abandoned in a field in Greece. Two female hunting dogs, around 8 months old. Cleo was found with a fractured pelvis and dislocated leg after being hit by a car. When the volunteers arrived to rescue them, her sister Cali was lying over her body to protect her. Fortunately, both puppies were saved and taken to the vet. Cleo went into surgery and physiotherapy without making a sound, so calm, patient and cooperative, as if she knew they were trying to help her.
She is vaccinated, sterilized and dewormed. She might need some physiotherapy sessions to improve with her limping.
She has such a perfect character, so gentle and loving. She’s good with other dogs and with cats.
Cleo has found a family, but we have 22 other dogs looking for a home.
