Chocolat’s journey has not been easy. She was rescued from abuse and escaped the “death truck” when the people in her neighborhood called animal control to capture her. Despite not being wanted, Chocolat stayed there, as it was the only place she knew. Thankfully, her story didn’t end there. This little bundle of love was saved just in time, and now she’s waiting for the happy ending she deserves.
Chocolat is a 4-year-old female with a medium size and a heart full of love. She enjoys cuddles, running and long walks. Although she’s still working on her relationship with cats, she gets along well with children and would thrive in a loving family. Chocolat needs a home with a garden, as she has been used to living outdoors (no farm animals though as she has a bit of a hunting instinct).
Chocolat has been under the care of the Main Dans la Patte shelter for a year now, and she’s more than ready to find her forever home.
She’s affectionate, playful, and incredibly social, always ready to be around people. She’s also very loyal, intelligent, and has a great memory.
