Alma has faced challenges no dog should ever experience. She used to live in a neighborhood where people were cruel to her. One day, as she peacefully slept, someone heartlessly kicked her in the head. Despite this, Alma’s sweet and gentle nature never changed. One of our volunteers stepped in to protect her and found her a safer place before more harm could come her way.
Now, Alma is staying in an enclosure with other dogs in our care, but she’s not happy there. She craves for human companionship so much that she escaped twice to find it. The first time, we thought she ran because of a storm, but the second time, she made her way all the way back to her rescuer’s home. It’s clear she’s looking for her forever family!
We estimate Alma’s age to be around 7 years. She’s a Greek Hound mix, probably used for hunting by her former owner.
She is a medium size dog, around 18 kilos.
Alma is friendly with both people and other dogs, and she’s a great travel buddy who enjoys car rides. She deserves a loving home where she can finally feel safe and cherished.
