Ruby

Story

Ruby was found in a village near Giannitsa, in Greece. The poor girl was having her first heat, all males chasing her! She is now around 1.5 years old, around 18-20kg, and is vaccinated and spayed. After spending a few days at the vet, a farmer offered to foster her in his yard with 3 other dogs but she started chasing the chickens so the farmer asked our volunteers to take her back.

Ruby is a lab and hunting dog mix. We are preferably looking for a home with a garden but an apartment would be fine too, if combined with an active lifestyle and lots of outdoor activities. 

Character

Ruby is a little shy at first but once she opens up, she has a wonderful and sweet character! She is good with other dogs and cats. As she is used to living in a yard, she will need to learn how to walk on a leash and live indoors.
